Stop the Abuse of Donkeys in Tourist Hotspots

Forced up 500 scorching steps in Santorini. Beaten through the ancient desert ruins of Petra. Gentle donkeys are worked to exhaustion – hauling tourists up steep, crumbling paths under a blazing sun, denied access to food and water, driven by handlers with sticks and whips, their joints strained under the weight of overloaded riders. When they falter, the beatings intensify – and when their bodies give out, they are abandoned.
